(Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice watches as U.S. President George W. Bush signs a bill during a ceremony held in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building at the White House, Washington, December 1, 2005. The bill directs the Joint Committee on the Library to obtain a statue of Rosa Parks and to place the statue in the United States capitol. Parks, a civil rights pioneer, was arrested on December 1, 1955 for refusing to give up her seat to a white patron on a Montgomery, Alabama city bus. Parks died October 24, 2005 at the age of 92.
