Vodafone earnings top forecasts

LONDON (Reuters) - Mobile phone giant Vodafone Group Plc topped forecasts for half-year core earnings on Tuesday and reaffirmed its year forecasts, though it unveiled a new 8.1-billion-pound ($15.49 billion) impairment to goodwill.
