Katrina telethon tally falls short of earlier show

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - The most watched of several TV music specials to benefit Hurricane Katrina victims raised about $30 million (16.5 million British pounds), a sum that fell short of a smaller-scale telethon that aired a week earlier, organisers said on Wednesday.
