Clear Channel to be acquired, sell off TV, radio stations

Clear Channel Communications will merge with a private equity group and sell its broadcast television division - which includes WAWS-TV and WTEV-TV in Jacksonville - as well as more than 400 radio stations, the company announced Thursday.
