Microchip sales seen up 10% in 2007

WORLDWIDE sales of semiconductors are set to rise 10 per cent to US$273.8 billion in 2007 and 10.8 per cent to US$303.4 billion in 2008, the Semiconductor Industry Association said yesterday.
