Launch vehicle problems force NASA to reschedule Mars probe launch

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla - After celebrating the successful landing of Discovery, albeit at an unexpected location, NASA now turns its attention back to the Red Planet. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) that was scheduled to be launched today has to wait for one more day, as concerns over the safety of a new rocket launcher have compelled NASA to shift the launch of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter to Thursday, August 11.
