The former Bundaberg hospital inquiry chief, Tony Morris QC, has launched a stinging attack on Queensland's health system, taking his concerns to the Federal Government. Mr Morris has submitted a 32-page report to the Standing Committee on Health and Ageing. Mr Morris was stood down from the position last week after the Supreme Court found he was biased against two key figures in the inquiry which had been investigating malpractice allegations against Dr Jayant Patel.
