DDW: Novel HCV Protease Inhibitor Promising in Early Trial

LOS ANGELES — Twenty-eight days of treatment with VX-950, an oral hepatitis C protease inhibitor, in combination with Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a), and Rebetol (ribavirin) achieved 100% rapid viral response in 12 treatment-naive HCV patients.
