(AFP/File) - A farmer and his wife save a dog and some belongings from their flooded house in the Northern province of Nam Dinh following the passage of typhoon Damrey September 2005. Fifty-seven people have perished in floods ravaging the Mekong delta in southern Vietnam and in the central region over the last several weeks, according to the last official tolls released(AFP/File/Hoang Dinh Nam)
