Diabetics have improved lives with Art Therapy

The combination of insulin and oral medication therapies and art therapy have helped heal anxious, stressed, and depressed diabetes patients. This study dates back one year but is one still beneficial to discuss. In 2004, Dana Green conducted a successful educational session with twenty-six of his diabetes patients in art therapy. The art therapy session looked at diabetes related issues such as: werewolf syndrome; finding food and diet enjoyable; getting physical activities appropriate for a diabetic family; and glucose screening to enable improved health.
