Daughter of Notebook takes top Yearling price

A daughter of Notebook sold for $85,000 to Richard Matlow as the top price in Saturday's session of the September Yearling Sale. Taylor Made Sales Agency sold the dark bay or brown filly out of Cut n' Double, by Cutlass. The filly is a full sister to West Virginia Oaks winner Elise's Notebook. Keeneland sold 249 horses Saturday for $3,703,600, an average of $14,874. During the same day last year, 215 horses sold for $2,979,100, an average of $13,856.
