When Patrick Messier's wife was pregnant, he decided to give her a gift that was both beautiful and functional. The result is the Mamma rocking chair, a sinuous piece of curved fibreglass that proves parenthood doesn't have to be all chewed-up blocks and clunky folding furniture.
