It was a strong week for the Flyers, and a milestone week for their goalie, Antero Niittymaki. Niittymaki blanked Calgary, resulting in the league's first scoreless game decided by a shootout. Despite that effort, the Flyers slipped to No. 6 in this week's NHL Power Rankings.
