US Airways' Delta bid sends NWA shares aloft

Northwest Airlines Corp.'s stock soared 93 percent Wednesday, after an $8 billion bid by US Airways Group Inc. to buy Delta Air Lines Inc. prompted speculation of more consolidation in the airline industry.
