A Tipple Cuts the Risk of Diabetes

By JULIE WHELDON A REGULAR tipple could help protect older women from diabetes, research has shown. Scientists found that over-50s who had up to three alcoholic drinks a week were far less likely to develop type 2 diabetes than those who abstained.
