The BJP's political resolution today railed against the ''politics of fatwas'' fostered by the UPA government's policy of ''minority appeasement,'' but it was the Parivar's own politics of fatwa-the RSS directive that Advani step down-that transformed the second day of the national executive into a suspense thriller replete with Byzantine turns and Machiavellian twists.
