Why I won't give up on the Zune...

I've made a lot of posts which are critical (or have pointed to others who were critical of the Zune. But, I'm not going to give up on them, for the same reasons as Windows NT and the PocketPC. Roughly a decade ago, if you were to have told people that Microsoft would have beat Palm in marketshare (and that Palm would be making Pocket PCs), you would have been laughed at. EVERYONE who had a PDA had a Palm, unless you were a follower of the Cult of Mac and were still using a Newton. Years ago, there was no way that Windows NT Servers would have replaced Novell servers. They were too entrenched. But look, now Novell has pretty much ditched Netware (haven't they?) and are focusing on SUSE Linux and Novell is now making "deals" with Microsoft to recommend each others products. My point: it might take Microsoft 10 years and millions of dollars... But, I don't think we've heard the end of the Zune.
