In Detroit, Chrysler, GM and Ford push for auto sales in 2005

In Detroit, the international auto show has arrived amid concerns from US manufacturers that significant volumes of vehicle sales are being lost to overseas competitors. Only DaimlerChrysler, (Chrysler Group in US) have something to smile about with an increase in 2004 sales, showing an increase worldwide of 3.5 percent but only 0.3 percent in the United States.
