Kerr-McGee restarts Gulf oil production

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Kerr-McGee Corp. restarted about 105,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day of its total net Gulf of Mexico production, officials announced Tuesday. The Oklahoma City-based company averaged 130,000 barrels of oil equivalent before Hurricane Katrina ravaged the Gulf Coast, officials said in a news release.
