Wendie Jo Sperber succumbs to breast cancer

Filed under: Breast Cancer Actress Wendie Jo Sperber, of Bosom Buddies fame, has passed away. Diagnosed with breast cancer nearly eight years ago, she died Tuesday in her home. She was 46. Diagnosed in 1997, she became a devoted activist to breast cancer, even founding weSPARK Cancer Support Center, which provides free emotional support, information and social activities for individuals and families affected by cancer. Ms. Sperber was in a wide variety of films, including the entire Back to the Future series.
