What makes people more democratic, anyway?

Theodore Hanf is in the business of asking questions. The answers he gets may at first seem commonplace. Some decades in the field have led him to conclude, for instance, that Muslims and Christians with the same level of education are equally likely to want a democratic government. "Well yes," you may nod. "Of course."
