Xbox 360 short supply drags Microsoft's Q2 earnings; posts record overall revenues

Microsoft reported the best single quarter revenue in its history but said operating income was 2 percent lower than expected following glitches in the development and production of its Xbox 360 video game console. Other expenses such as sales and marketing also contributed to keep the profits down.
