Comeback man Karthik raring to go
13th Nov 2006, 18:11 GMT
The selection of a wicketkeeper batsman, Dinesh Karthik, as a replacement for Yuvraj Singh for the one-dayers in South Africa would have raised a few eyebrows, given that the natural choice would have been to opt for a specialist batsman. But to Karthik's credit, his selection was a clear indication that the selectors have recognised his abilities as a batsman, though Mahendra Singh Dhoni still remains the first-choice wicketkeeper.
