Yen climbs vs. dollar on Japan election poll

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- The Japanese yen scored gains against the U.S. dollar on Monday, after a poll pointed to a strong victory for Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi's party in Sunday's elections.
