Anadarko sells Gulf discovery for $1.35B

Continuing its plan to divest holdings in the wake of the Kerr-McGee Corp. and Western Gas Resources Inc. acquisitions, Anadarko Corp. has agreed to sell its interest in a key deepwater Gulf of Mexico discovery to a group of buyers led by Hess Corp. in a deal worth $1.35 billion.
