AMQP and Microsoft
13th Nov 2006, 18:46 GMT
A quick question about AMQP (Advanced Message Queueing Protocol). Apparently there is already support for C# by some of those that currently support it, but I wondered if AMQP might be something that Microsoft is eventually going to become involved in? Yes it is open, but it is also driven by financial institutions that Microsoft are obviously keen to keep happy (with the Novell deal being a fair indication), and I wondered if we are ever likely to see Microsoft contribute to either the spec, or maybe even (shock, horror) implement it.
