Armed gangs raid Iraq ministry, kidnap 100 people

Scores of gunmen wearing police uniforms kidnapped 100 to 150 employees from Iraq's Higher Education Ministry in a brazen daylight raid today. Up to 80 insurgents went floor to floor, separating men from women, then forcing their hostages into a fleet of getaway vehicles, a minister said.
