Matsui breaks his wrist as Red Sox trounce Yankees 5-3

NEW YORK - Hideki Matsui broke his left writs during the course of the Yankees encounter with Boston Red Sox and this really cost them the game as they went down 3-5 on Thursday night. Sox were greatly helped by Mark Loretta's two-run infield single.
