Pain is an extremely subjective matter, as different individuals do not share the same level of pain tolerance. Standardization of pain have not been a successful endeavor by all means, although researchers from Brunel University in the U.K. have taken a step in the right direction by developing a PDA-based pain recording and monitoring system. This is the world's first computer based 3D solution for pain visualization, enabling practitioners to collect vital information on patient experience of pain. Different classifications of pains are available, ranging from burning, aching, stabbing, pins and needles to numbness. At last, we can confirm whether mention of our local politicians is the actual cause of pain in our derriere.
