Radiation treatment prolonged liver cancer patients' lives, U-M study finds

Researchers are reporting success with a new method of attacking liver cancer. Radiation is aimed precisely at the tumor and 400 times the normal amount of chemotherapy is fed directly to the liver, delivering an intensive punch to the tumor while limiting exposure to normal tissue.
