Access, PalmSource deal gets US antitrust clearance

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. antitrust authorities on Thursday said they approved plans by Japanese software developer Access Co. 4813.T to buy handheld computer software maker PalmSource Inc. PSRC.O for about $324 million in cash.
