Lebanon and Syria strike energy deal

Lebanon can receive from 120 to 180 megawatts from Syria each year and save up to $6 million per month, Energy and Water Minister Mohammad Fneish said. Speaking to reporters, Fneish explained the agreement was reached after Lebanon paid $16 million in dues to Syria, adding that the remaining dues would be paid in installments.
