GPS: The Movie

16th Nov 2005, 16:22 GMT

We’re still trying to pin the fascination with making (oft awful) movies with major plot devices based on current technology fads (see VoIP: The Movie, Dell Tech Force: The Movie, Friendster: the Movie, One Missed Call, etc.), but just when we thought it couldn’t get any more banal, boom, we get hit with a full-length feature with all the classic makings of a B-flick. It’s called GPS: The Movie—we’ll spare you the MST3Kisms, but we highly recommend peeping the trailer, even if only for the GPS theme song, which will now automatically play in the background so long as there’s a GPS article on the front page of Engadget.
