Reader's Digest agrees to be acquired for $1.6 bln

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Reader's Digest Association Inc., publisher of one of the most widely-read U.S. magazines, has agreed to be acquired by an investor group for $1.6 billion (847 million pounds), the two sides said on Thursday.
