The temperature was well into the 80s during Stephanie Mundts first cross country meet of the season Thursday, but that didnt slow her down. "Our coach told us this race didnt matter so much and that it was just to kind of see where we were at," said Mundt, a sophomore at Urbandale High School who finished in the top 10 at last years state meet and won the 3,200-meter run at the state track meet last spring. She finished Thursdays Urbandale Invitational in 14 minutes, 29 seconds, tying a school record.
