Taipei mayor apologizes for misuse of special fund

TAIPEI (Reuters) - The mayor of Taipei, a potential candidate for Taiwan's 2008 presidential election, apologized on Wednesday for irregularities in the use of a special fund, the latest corruption spat to grip the island.
