Canucks' Cooke returns in 3-2 win
14th Dec 2005, 10:09 GMT
Matt Cooke knocked in a rebound with 4:31 left, breaking a tie in his first game since missing 17 with a broken jaw and lifting the visiting Vancouver Canucks to a 3-2 victory over the Atlantic Division-leading New York Rangers last night. The Canucks, who had only five road victories coming in, left with a tie for the Northwest Division lead. In off-the-ice news, Canucks goalie Dan Cloutier will miss at least the rest of the regular season because of a knee injury that will require surgery.
