Windows Genuine Advantage taking Advantage?

I hear about people from time to time that have troubles with Windows Genuine Advantage, yet I am not sure how widespread the problem is. Have you run into this trouble or have first hand knowledge of someone else that has a Genuine copy of Windows only to be labeled by the application as having a Pirated versions?
