Firms chase bigger mergers after Tata's Corus deal

TATA Steel Ltd's planned US$8 billion purchase of Corus Group plc is giving Indian companies, including drug-makers, confidence to scout for bigger acquisitions abroad, bankers at ABN Amro Holding NV said.
