If there's one thing that designer Stella McCartney knows, it's boots. And gold-digging tramps who marry one's father, then proceed to drag one's entire family through the mud with a false, libelous lawsuit. But back to the boots.... We really feel like stomping around in these fabulous, animal-friendly Stella McCartney, ribbed short boots. Not one animal died to make them: Stella is a big supporter of animal rights and refuses to use fur in her collections. Made in Italy, the shoes are constructed from vintage brown faux leather, with a black ribbed cotton, fold over shaft and a side zipper. The fabric is actually 90% polyester and 10% polyurethane, if you absolutely must know these sorts of details. The heels are a sky high 3 1/5", so we might want to reconsder the stomping part. Perhaps a lively strut would work better with these, oh so chic, oh so 70's with a touch of 80's boots. They retail for $665.00 here.
