(Reuters) - A McDonald's restaurant is seen in San Salvador December 9, 2005. McDonald's Corp. will appeal a ruling by an El Salvador court that orders the hamburger chain to pay a local businessman nearly $24 million for unfairly revoking his franchise license in 1996, a McDonald's lawyer said on Thursday. Lawyer Roberto Romero said McDonald's will contest the ruling, which awards multimillion-dollar damages to Salvadoran businessman Roberto Bukele, as well as reinstating his license.
