OTC syrups don't alleviate cough symptoms, says ACCP panel

Reaching out for a bottle of over-the-counter (OTC) cough syrup every time a bout of coughing hits you is not a good enough solution for the ailment, researchers from the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) have said.
