HDTV premieres and encores tonight
16th Sep 2005, 13:00 GMT
Filed under: CBS, FOX, Digital TV, Programming We'll still have our daily programming post later today, but I wanted to highlight some fall premieres in high-def this evening. CBS is running a two-part premiere of "Threshold" tonight with back-to-back episodes at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. (ET). "Threshold" looks to have an X-Files flair to it as the unexplained is a big factor in the show. These dark mysteries typically exemplify a great HD picture. Fox has two premieres on tap in HD tonight, although these may be encore presentations of them. "Bones" kicks off at 8:00 p.m. (ET) and features a combo of forensics and anthropology. If they feature any digging in the sand, the HD pic is sure to knock your socks off. "Reunion" is next up on Fox at 9:00 p.m. and appears to have a "24"-like approach. Each show takes place one year after the previous episode; in the end, one of the characters is murdered and the remaining folks are suspects. Don't miss the HD premieres, and come on back here to provide your comments and thoughts on the high-definition presentations. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
