Do your kids think L'Oreal is worth it?

6th Sep 2005, 12:30 GMT

I change my hair color frequently. For the last little while, it has been blonde, but it has also been various shades of red, and sometimes even brown (neither of which go with my complexion, but what the heck?). And I have noticed that sometimes the kids will look at me kind of funny when I am running around the house with hair dye on my head, or hair pulled through a cap, with a Wal-mart plastic bag tied around it, but for the most part, they don’t seem to notice the changes in hair color. I remember one time going from red to blonde and having my oldest say, “Oh, now you look like you again,” but usually, they don’t even notice. Is this because I still sound and smell the same? There are people in my town who don’t recognize me if I do something as drastic as wear my contacts instead of my glasses, so how come my many hair shades don’t phase the kids? Believe me, I’m grateful— but is this normal? Or are my kids just clueless? How do your kids respond to your changing hair color?
