Acts of kindness

On June 14, I was in an accident at Central and McDowell and became disoriented. After repeatedly asking someone to find my glasses, a gentleman stepped in and found them for me. Thanks for your kindness, sir. Thanks also to the EMTs who examined me and took me to Good Samaritan hospital. I appreciate the detective who secured an item of personal property from my car for me, giving it to a uniformed officer. Special thanks to that officer for waiting in my ER cubicle until my husband arrived so the item wouldn't be temporarily impounded. I am grateful. Thanks to the ER personnel who treated me: Dr. David Streitwieser, Ed (despite my pain, you made me laugh), the nurses and X-ray technicians. To Judy at North Phoenix Baptist Church: Thanks for walking me to my car on June 19 when I left services early because of severe pain. Thanks to my Bible study friends for their prayers, and to Nancy Woods, who called with an offer to pick up groceries for me.
