Renewable fuel could play larger role in U.S. energy

A new study from Rand Corp. predicts renewable resources such as ethanol and wind power could produce as much as a quarter of the electricity and transportation fuels used in the United State by 2025 at little or no additional expense if the costs of such energy continue falling.
