Uganda: Global Warming is Hitting Uganda Hard
13th Nov 2006, 16:21 GMT
Uganda and Africa for that matter must watch out over what is happening to the environment. The phenomenon of global warming has not been an issue of concern in Uganda in the past, but as I write, there is need to worry over what global warming could cause in this century. Africa has reason to worry over the sequence of events in the environmental order. Much as Africa is worst hit by the phenomenon of climate change related to global warming, its gas emission effects contribute only 3% as compared to the 97% of such gases drawn from the industrialised nations.
