Frieden's fat in the fire

When Health Commissioner Thomas Frieden announced in September that he wanted to ban artery-clogging trans fats from the city's 24,000 restaurants by July 2008, he told New Yorkers, "Restaurants can replace trans fat without changing the taste or cost of food." Now, there's mounting evidence he was wrong.
