(Reuters) - Commuters wait for a train at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris during a nationwide rail strike November 22, 2005. One in three trains were running to and from most Paris stations as trade unions representing rail workers called for an open-ended strike over plans to privatise France's national railways, the SNCF.
