I want my MTV in HDTV!

Filed under: News, Programming Oh, the early 80's, I remember them well. We had just received this large tan box that we were renting. It wasn't much to look at: just a membrane-style numeric keypad and a red LED digital display. We turned it on and what did we see (and pay for)? A bunch of musicians with big eyeglasses singing "Video Killed the Radio Star." again and again and again. Yes, I witnessed the birth of MTV. Now you can witness it's rebirth in high-definition this coming January. A new channel, MHD, will be born and is going to feature content that is perfect for HD. Concerts and videos in HD and Surround Sound are perfect ways to feature high-def programming. January 16, 2006 is the expected due date for the new MTV baby.
